Qlarion Sponsors Alex’s Lemonade Stand to Honor Hope Bertelsen

During the month of September, Qlarion is participating in a million-mile walk in support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization that honors Alexandra “Alex” Scott who, as a young cancer patient, raised over $1 million for pediatric cancer research by her 8th birthday.

Alex’s Million Mile will raise funds and increase awareness of childhood cancer research. Qlarion’s goal is to collectively run, walk, or ride 2,000 miles before the end of the month. We will track the steps on a weekly basis and donate $1000 to the fund when we reach our team goal.

Our team, “A Stand For Hope,” walks in honor of Hope Bertelsen, who passed away in June. Just 23 years old, Hope served as a spokesperson for pediatric cancer research and spoke movingly about her personal battle with cancer. The Qlarion team is also inspired by Ava, a 5 year-old cancer survivor and ambassador for Alex’s Lemonade stand who we met a few weeks ago. Stories like Ava’s fuel each step we take toward our 2,000 mile goal.

Please join us in support Hope, Alex, Ava and others affected by pediatric cancer by donating to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
